Mrs. Shannon

My name is Shannon Herzog and I am excited to be teaching the toddler class and the 5’s class at WCCNS. I am ready to teach, read and learn with the students in a co-op atmosphere. I am looking forward to another great year!

My family has been part of the co-op for eleven years. Previously I taught kindergarten in Dayton prior to being a stay at home mom. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Dayton. I also have a Master’s Degree from Xavier University as a reading specialist.

My husband, Rusty, and I have five children and they all have graduated from WCCNS. We see Co-op families everywhere and still get together. The preschool family is amazing and we have made many great memories here!Type your paragraph here.

My name is Lisa Cortez.  I am so very excited to be teaching the 4’s class this year, and am looking forward to getting to know each of you.

My husband, Ben, and I have been married for 12 years, and our family moved to Ohio about 3 years ago.  We have three children, ages 5, 7, and 9. Our youngest, Oliver, is a recent alum of Mrs. Chris’s 3’s and 4’s classes.

I graduated from Purdue University with a K-12 Special Education teaching degree and spent 8 years working with children in both primary and secondary settings.  For the past 6 years I have been busy planning fun and educational activities at home for my own children.

We have thoroughly enjoyed being part of the WCCNS family and I am eager to get back in the classroom and embark on a fun-filled year of learning experiences with you!
