WEST CHESTER COOPERATIVE NURSERY SCHOOL
Hello! My name is Stacy Strousse, and I’m so excited to be teaching the five’s class. I can’t wait to meet all of my amazing students. Teaching is my passion, and watching my students learn and grow throughout the year is the most rewarding part of being a teacher.
I have a Bachelor’s of Music degree in Music Education from SUNY Potsdam (Potsdam, NY), and I’m currently a piano teacher at The Cincinnati School of Music in Mason. My 25+ years of teaching experience includes both preschool and school-aged children, as well as children with special needs.
My husband, Justin, and I have lived in Mason for 20 years. We have two amazing daughters – Amelia, 15, and Lydia, 13, along with our goofy Boxer, Bubbles.
I’m looking forward to spending my mornings with you, building wonderful memories along the way!
I’m Anne DeLorean and I’ll be playing and growing with the 4’s this year. I fell in love with the co-op at an open house with my daughter, Faye, when she was two, she is six now! She joined the 2’s class in February and we both cried on her last day in the 4’s class. The co-op was like home to us.
During my time at the co-op I served as the Assistant Treasurer and Class Repressive for the 4’s class with Mrs. Lisa. Previously, I had the honor of being a full time nanny, development coach and educational aid for a little girl with Autism, worked at a Montessori preschool and volunteered for Faye’s kindergarten class. After a career in Event Sales and Marketing I took temporary retirement to be a stay at home mom, which allowed me the privilege of also being a co-op parent.
I look forward to meeting you and your children. I have a lot to learn and welcome the wisdom that only 4 year olds have to give. They will have a safe and loving place to learn and I will do my absolute best to fill their buckets with new knowledge and lots of joy.
Hello! My name is Leah Sharpshair and I am super excited to be teaching the 3's and Toddler's Classes! I am looking forward to getting to know each of you.
My husband, Michael, and I have been married for almost 30 years and have 7 children. All seven of my children have attended WCCNS and now I have the amazing opportunity to continue working with students and families in a place I truly love. My granddaughters are now making their way through, continuing in their mama's footsteps, and I am excited another generation will be at WCCNS.
I am looking forward to helping each of the children learn and grow and be successful, while having lots of fun in the classroom. I want nothing more than to see your child excited about spending the morning with Mrs. Leah and having their first experience at preschool an awesome beginning in their education.
